Teaching

As a postdoctoral fellow at the University of Michigan, I developed and taught “Media and Politics: 2024 Election,” a seminar for first-year students. I also taught “Media Processes and Effects,” a large introductory lecture to the field of communication.

During my Ph.D. at the University of Michigan, I was a graduate student instructor for:

  • Social Networks (with Kristin Drogos, Fall 2020 & Winter 2021)

  • Media Processes and Effects (with Scott Campbell, Winter 2020)

  • Media and Violence (with Rowell Huesmann, Fall 2019)

In Fall 2020 and Fall 2021, I was also the lead instructor for the Communication and Media department’s “Summer Math Camp,” a gentle introduction to R and RStudio for incoming graduate students.
